Stainless Lag Screws Feature
Stainless lag screws are commonly used for screwing in residential wood construction and can be used for fastening connection in high density wood. most widely used in wood house framing.
DIN 571 stainless lag bolts have a much larger thread diameter than ordinary wood screws, and have a thicker thread that does not run the entire length of the screw. the high strench properties allow for applications in heavy wood costruction.
SS lag screws made of 304 stainless steel or 316 stainless steel, which is robust and wear-resistant, can protect against rusting in humid environments.
In order to prevent cracks in thicker wooden parts, we recommend drilling pre-drilled holes in the wookpiece. the diameter of the pre-drilled holes should be at least 30% smaller than the thread size of the lag screws.
